Presenting Our 2022 Scholarship Winner
EC Roofing & Home Services Direct offers one scholarship to a graduating Maryland high school senior going to a college or trade school immediately after high school. They hope their scholarships will help minimize the financial burden of college and positively affect their futures.
In this case, congratulations to our 2022 scholarship winner, Litzy Argueta. Litzy is a graduate of Franklin High School “22 and will be attending Loyola University in the fall as a first-generation college student. Additionally, she plans to study speech pathology.
Scholarship Selection Process
Every year, the EC Roofing & Home Services Direct management team will determine the selection. They look for candidates passionate about life, learning, and involvement. The potential candidate should also have a record of family/community involvement, hard work, and a vision for their future.
Moreover, the chosen applicant will be notified by email no later than July 10th, and the selected student will be awarded a $1,000 check at the EC Roofing & Home Services Direct office at 837 Frederick Road in Catonsville. In addition, the $1,000 check will be made out directly to the student upon enrolling in a college or trade school.
Scholarship Application Requirements
So, how does a potential winner apply for the yearly scholarship?
- First, visit this website.
- Download and complete the scholarship application. The submission deadline is May 31st.
- Complete a letter of introduction addressed to EC Roofing & Home Services Direct. This letter should briefly explain current involvement, activities, and future goals/plans.
- The chosen student agrees for EC Roofing to showcase their picture and name on the company’s website and Facebook.
